Peggy Norton-Rosko, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Trinity Health, leads the development of integrated care models, clinical services, and strategies that improve healthcare operations, quality, safety, and financial outcomes—ensuring the long-term growth and sustainability of Trinity Health.

She is committed to supporting a professional nursing practice environment that supports excellent patient care by advocating for nurses to engage in professional governance to shape their practice and to lead improvement in patient outcomes.

Prior to her current role, Norton-Rosko served as the senior vice president and chief nurse executive for the University of Maryland Medical System where she led nursing practice, standards of care, nursing professional development, operational effectiveness, academic practice partnerships and collaborated with community partners for workforce development programs. She also supported the system’s strategic planning, nursing workforce development, continuous clinical improvement initiatives and the organization's High Reliability journey.

Her clinical experience spans many years as both an advanced practice nurse and a critical care nurse, and she also held affiliate and adjunct faculty roles at several schools of nursing.

Norton-Rosko earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Northern Illinois University, a Master of Science in nursing from Loyola University of Chicago and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University.
