Daniel Hale,
Executive Vice President, Community Benefit and Public Affairs

Dan Hale provides corporate legal services, manages legal services provided to Trinity Health's operating entities, and works on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Trinity Health, Hale joined Holy Cross Health System in 1996 in the newly created position of senior vice president, general counsel. He previously was partner and chairman of the health law group Drinker Biddle & Reath in Philadelphia, Pa., and has broad experience spanning the scope of healthcare law, from various hospital-related issues to integrated delivery networks.

Hale's areas of practice include healthcare, securities, and corporate and general counsel. In the healthcare area, he has represented hospitals, healthcare systems, nursing facilities, managed care organizations, physician/hospital organizations, home health agencies, mail order pharmacies and other healthcare providers and businesses. He also has designed and implemented structures for collaboration among hospitals, physicians and payors in integrated and risk-based systems.
