Paul Browne,
Senior Vice President - Information Services and Program Management

Paul is currently responsible for all elements of the Trinity Health information services function including 1,200 IS professionals in seven states.

In addition, Paul is responsible for Trinity's enterprise level Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO is responsible for development of Trinity's annual Tactical Plan and coordination of programs and projects within the plan.

Prior to assuming his current role, Paul directed the activities of Trinity's IS Project Management Office with a primary focus on Trinity's Genesis initiative. Paul has extensive experience in all aspects of IS planning, management, and operations. His primary focus since joining Trinity in 1999 has been the implementation and on-going support of enterprise-wide clinical, administrative, and ERP information systems. He also has extensive experience in the health insurance industry having served previously as the Chief Information Officer at both Mercy Health Plans and SelectCare.

Prior to joining Trinity, Paul spent five years with SelectCare (a mid-sized regional managed care organization) and eight years with Accenture / Andersen Consulting where he worked in a variety of industries.

Paul has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan. In addition, he will receive his master's degree in Health Administration / Public Health from the University of Michigan in June 2008.
