Trinity Health is a 47-hospital faith-based health system with significant participation in graduate medical education (GME) and other academic activities (e.g., nursing medical students, allied health). Trinity Health recently established an Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) with the goal of fostering collaboration across the GME programs nationally.
In aggregate, more than 1,200 residents train at 14 ministry organizations (i.e., hospitals) in 7 states. There are more than 150 GME programs in over 60 specialties, including primary care and subspecialty fellowships. The partnership of Trinity Health and Catholic Health East will further enhance the size of scope of the academic enterprise.
We encourage you to review our GME program offerings.
