Novi, Michigan – Trinity Health today announced that
James Peppiatt-Combes has been appointed as the system’s
first Chief Development Officer (CDO), leading business development
activities throughout Trinity Health.
Combes will move from his current duties as Chief Financial
Officer at Trinity Health. He will perform both the CFO and
CDO roles until the appointment of the new CFO, possibly
as soon as this summer.
In his new position, Combes will help refine business development
strategies and oversee their implementation. He will provide
guidance to joint venture and similar transactions throughout
the system.
“We are fortunate to have an executive who is experienced,
business savvy, respected, and well connected throughout
Catholic health care and the industry as a whole, and can
readily assume this new position,” said Joseph R. Swedish,
President and CEO, Trinity Health.
Combes has been CFO of Trinity Health since 1983, where
he was actively involved with business planning and implementations,
mergers and other strategic initiatives. Before that, his
career spanned a variety of engineering, operations, financial
and CEO responsibilities.
Combes earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial
engineering and his MBA from Harvard Business School. |
