Trinity Health Appoints Two New Board Members

Novi, Mich. – Trinity Health today announced the appointment of Cheryln Chin and Lawrence Damron to its Board of Directors.

Chin, 41, is Vice President of Sales Operations at Sun Microsystems. She has more than 19 years of experience in high technology sales, marketing and professional services.

Chin is actively involved with Women in Technology International, and was named a YMCA 2002 Tribute to Women and Technology Honoree. Chin holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Mary’s College of California.

Damron, 58, is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at AKSYS LTD in Lincolnshire, Ill. He has more than 25 years of experience in finance, treasury, audit services and public reporting. Damron has directed financial operations including accounting, billing and collections, information systems, treasury and SEC reporting.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Cincinnati, a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of California, and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University.

In addition to Damron and Chin, the members of the Trinity Health board include Board Chair William Kreykes, Trinity Health President/CEO Judith Pelham, James Hendricks, Sister Yvonne Gellise, RSM, Patrick Hays, Sister Christa Marie Hojlo, CSC, Sister Kathleen Moroney, CSC, Linda Murray, and Jose Santillan.
