Fellowship Program
Structure Overview
The Trinity Health Fellowship Program is designed to provide
an educational experience for individuals who are interested
in management responsibilities in nonprofit multi-unit health
care systems and who have demonstrated the potential for high-level
executive leadership in the field. The Fellowship Program
is planned for one year, July through June.
The program design is adaptable to meet the participants'
goals and objectives and the needs of the organizations. Opportunities
for experience at the corporate offices, subsidiaries, and
one or more Member Organizations will be available. The majority
of the year will be spent at a Member Organization with a
preceptor at that location. A second preceptor also will be
assigned for the corporate office portion of the fellowship.
The fellow may choose to be involved in projects at more than
one site, depending on individual objectives.
To allow for broad exposure in an integrated health care
system, a comprehensive orientation period will be provided
at the beginning of the fellowship. Continued involvement
with corporate and Member Organization staff in areas identified
by the fellow, including participation in key meetings and
conferences, will be facilitated by the primary and secondary
preceptors.
During the fellowship year, Trinity Health staff will work
with fellows to identify opportunities for continued employment
within the organization upon completion of the program. |
