Saint Alphonsus Leads Community Forum to Find a Way

Demonstrating their continued leadership in advocacy for comprehensive health reform, Saint Alphonsus convened a forum entitled “Moving Idaho to a High Performance Health System.” Panelists and forum attendees actively engaged in a discussion about the need for current payment models to be redesigned, especially as they relate to compensating primary care providers for coordinating care across the continuum.

St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Shows Sen. Levin How They are Finding a Way with Innovation

Senator Carl Levin (D-MI) and Jack Weiner, CEO of St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (SJMO) are pictured together at SJMO. During the month of August, the Senator visited both SJMO and Mercy Hospital Cadillac, where he saw first-hand how robots are improving access and care to stroke patients all over the state. The Senator expressed his support for broad-scale health reform and commended Trinity Health for building momentum for reform with its associates and community members.
