Serving as Trinity Health’s Chief Development Officer since 2006, Maria Szymanski leads business development strategies and oversees their implementation. More broadly, she provides leadership to mergers, acquisitions, joint venture and real estate activities across the Trinity Health enterprise.

Previously, Maria was Senior Vice President Business Development and Senior Vice President Finance. For much of her 17 years at Trinity Health, Maria has provided leadership for the development of many financial activities including: financial reporting, revenue management, finance operations, tax, financial planning, budgeting and capital planning.

Prior to joining Trinity Health, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Selectcare and Vice President and Controller of St. Joseph’s Health Network in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.

Maria currently serves on the Boards of Trinity Senior Living Communities, Trinity Home Health Services and on the Finance Committee of St. Joseph Mercy Oakland.
